Press Release: Blog for Catholic Lectors Gains Steam

Lectors and Parish Leaders Nationwide Get Weekly Doses of Learning and Enrichment from First-Of-A-Kind Site

DeBary, FL – May 24, 2012… "Lector to Lector" is a new blog to help lectors and readers reach higher excellence as proclaimers of God’s word, and further fuel their passion for this ministry.

The blog is a centerpiece of Lector Resources.com (www.lectorresources.com) an extensive one-stop source of preparation aids, lector guides, audios, videos, links to valuable sites, prayers and a lector community forum for Q&A, sharing and support.

Lector to Lector goes beyond the basic skill training, rules and rubrics that parishes typically provide. The blog helps lectors and their parish leaders gain greater appreciation for the importance and potential of the lector’s role in the Mass, and the need to continually strive for greater excellence in the ministry.

Titles of recent posts include: "A Few Good Lectors Are Not Enough, Great Speakers Don’t Always Make Great Lectors, Stay Cool When the Heat Is On, Beware of Getting Comfortable" and "Called by God or Self?"

All posts can be viewed at www.lectorresources.com/blog.html. Readers can receive weekly posts by email, or regularly checking the site.

Website founder and blogger, George Miller, is a veteran Catholic lector, lector trainer and former ministry head who writes under the name of Miller Resources LLC.  For more information, contact him at 407-227-3602george@lectorresources.com, or P.O. Box 530534, DeBary, FL 32753.
